Short answer: what to wear to a session: wear something loose and comfortable and bring your questions. This is general advice.

What to wear to a session

  • Loose, comfortable clothes that let you sit or rest easily, with the sore area easy to reach.
  • Questions and notes: anything you want to ask, and any medicines or conditions you want to mention.
  • Your doctor's advice, if you have a recent report you'd like us to know about.
  • A bottle of water is fine; we also offer a glass of water before your session.[1]
  • Tell us about a pacemaker or other implant, pregnancy, or any open wound. Our product pages say the devices aren't recommended in those situations.

When to see a doctor

See a doctor if you have a new or severe symptom; don't wait for a session.
