Short answer: for iTeraCare pacemaker implants pregnancy questions, ask your doctor first, and tell our team before any session or purchase. Our product pages say the devices are not recommended for people with pacemakers or electronic implants, or during pregnancy.[8]

iTeraCare pacemaker implants pregnancy: what to know

  • Pacemakers. Hospital advice is to keep phones at least 15 cm (6 inches) from the device, household appliances about 12 cm, and anything containing a magnet at least 15 cm away, and to ask your cardiology team or pacing clinic about anything else.[1] The British Heart Foundation likewise advises keeping anything with a magnetic field and certain electrical equipment at least six inches away, and to speak to your doctor or pacing clinic if you have concerns.[2] Some of our products combine several technologies, including magnetic ones, so for a pacemaker we say "not recommended".
  • Other implants. Metal or electronic implants need a doctor's go-ahead before any session. Tell us about any implant when you book.
  • Pregnancy. Our pages say not recommended during pregnancy, so please speak to your doctor or midwife first.
  • After a baby or an operation. Ask your doctor before any session, especially after a caesarean or surgery.
  • If you are unsure, don't use it; call or WhatsApp us on +91 96771 46787 and we will talk it through with you.

When to see a doctor

See a doctor or your cardiology team first if you have a pacemaker or any implant. In an emergency, go to the nearest hospital emergency department.
