A glass of water in soft daylight on a pale green cloth

Some technologies arrive with noise and big promises. This one arrives quietly: a glass of water, a calm room, and a gentle stream of warm air.

It’s called terahertz wellness, and we believe India is ready for it.

A session, in a few quiet steps

It starts with a glass of water. Then you settle into a private room, and our trained team explains what will happen, listens to what brings you in, and stays with you throughout. For about 15 to 20 minutes, a slim handheld device sends a stream of warm air over the area you’d like looked after.

No tablets. No needles. No creams. Nothing harsh on your body, only warmth, and a little time that is just for you.

Many visitors tell us they walk out feeling calm and light.

Like a magic wand, but with physics

The first time you see the device, it does look a little like a magic wand. And honestly, the feeling it leaves can be a little magical. But there’s no magic in it. There’s physics, and it’s wonderful physics.

The world is full of invisible waves, and they differ by how fast they wiggle. Radio and Wi-Fi are slow wiggles. Microwaves, like the ones in your oven, are faster. Then comes terahertz, wiggling roughly a trillion times a second. After it come infrared (the warmth of a fire), visible light, ultraviolet and X-rays. So terahertz sits in a narrow band between microwaves and infrared. Researchers put it at about 0.1 to 10 THz.[1]

Two things make it special.

First, it’s non-ionizing. X-rays carry enough energy to knock tiny particles off atoms and damage DNA. Terahertz waves don’t, which is why researchers call them non-ionizing and non-invasive.[1] Think of a million ping-pong balls thrown at a bolt: they’ll never loosen it.

Second, water absorbs terahertz strongly, and our bodies are mostly water. So terahertz stays near the surface of the skin, only about a tenth of a millimetre to a few millimetres deep.[1]

You may hear terahertz called “the wave of life”. That’s a nickname from the wellness world, not an official scientific term. The idea behind it is a lovely one: water and many of the large molecules in our bodies naturally move in this range, and researchers find that fascinating.[2]

We’re early. We believe this technology has real potential as a gentle, drug-free way to support people’s wellbeing.

A heartfelt technology, arriving in India

India has always understood gentle care: warm water, rest, patience, being looked after. iTeraCare brings that same spirit in a modern form.

More than 1,000 people across India have now tried it, and many tell us they’re glad they did. You can hear their stories in our YouTube Shorts and on our testimonials page.

Come and see for yourself

Whatever your health concern may be, we would love to hear it out, and we will take pride in looking after you with care. A session is a gentle, low-pressure way to find out how it feels, and you can stop whenever you like. Please tell our team about your health first, including any medical conditions, implants or pregnancy, so we can guide you well. Please note that the device is not recommended for pregnancy, for people with a pacemaker or other electronic implants, or for people with metal implants in the head.

A session is a wellness experience, not a medical treatment, and it never replaces your doctor.

Your first session is complimentary. Book a time, or ask for a session at home (Chennai, India).

We also sell our devices globally. Check out our store here.
