Is heat good for back pain?

  • Heat: a heat pack or hot-water bottle wrapped in a tea towel, around 15 to 20 minutes.[1][4] Avoid heat on a fresh injury or a swollen, warm area.[4][5]
  • Cold: ice or frozen peas in a tea towel.[1]
  • Take care with burns if you have reduced skin feeling, for example with diabetes.

Warmth you control

That is also what our handheld devices are about: a gentle stream of warm air with settings you control. See them, or book a first session.
